Ravi Kishan attended the screening of ‘The Sabarmati Report’ in Delhi

Actor and politician Ravi Kishan discussed the recent publication of “The Sabarmati Report,” which was shown today in Parliament’s Balyogi Auditorium in New Delhi.

The film, which stars Vikrant Massey, is based on the horrific February 27, 2002, burning of the Sabarmati Express’s S-6 coach close to Gujarat’s Godhra station.

He said in an interview with ANI that the movie is a sincere effort to reveal the incident’s reality. We’re going to see the truth today. A big scheme was devised to reveal the truth that the nation wants to know. Although I had heard of the movie, I had not watched it myself.

Prime Minister Modi has publicly praised the film’s attempt to expose the truth, which has already garnered a lot of attention.

PM Modi responded, “Well said,” in response to a post on X that included the movie’s trailer. The fact that this reality is being revealed in a form that the general public can understand is a positive thing. There is a limit to how long a false story can continue. The truth will always surface in due time.

The movie, which raises awareness of the Godhra event in 2002, has been exempt from taxes in a number of states, including Gujarat, Rajasthan, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh.

Actress and BJP MP Hema Malini is among the many political personalities who have praised the movie.

In an interview with ANI, Malini called the film “very good” and highlighted how faithfully it captured the actual circumstances leading up to the tragedy. “There were some misconceptions about that incident,” she said. Although it was done on purpose, other people said it was an accident.

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, went to a showing of the movie in Lucknow with the actors and other notable figures.

“Vikrant Massey and his team made a commendable effort,” CM Adityanath stated, expressing his respect for the film. I convey my sincere appreciation on behalf of UP. The nation’s citizens are entitled to know the truth about the efforts made to sow discord in society. He also announced that the movie was exempt from state taxes.

Nayab Singh Saini, the chief minister of Haryana, also commended the movie for revealing the truth about the Godhra event.
“The truth of the deadly Godhra train fire is revealed in this film. “The subject has been handled with dignity and sensitivity by the makers,” Saini said. He said that the movie pays homage to the 59 people who perished in the disaster in 2002.

Following his viewing of the film at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant also spoke highly of it. “The movie is incredibly wonderful, and I really enjoyed it. You did a good job presenting the movie. In a phone conversation made possible by producer Mahaveer Jain, CM Sawant expressed his sincere congratulations.

Under the auspices of Vikir Films Production and Balaji Motion Pictures, Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan, and Anshul Mohan are producing the movie.

One of the film’s producers, Ektaa Kapoor, recently discussed the film’s considerable study. “We reviewed prior research and fact-checked those findings for a year,” she said. We didn’t start working on the movie until after that. I am so honored to have produced this film, which reveals the truth about it.
