The CBI and other responders were notified by Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma, who also requested a response. The hearing is scheduled on January 21, 2025.

Dalvin Suresh has requested that the ruling allowing CEO Abhishek Gupta and Deshpal Singh temporary release be revoked.

On September 23, 2024, the trial court granted them temporary bail.

Dalvin Suresh’s attorney, advocate Abhijit Anand, argued that the temporary bail was issued without taking into account all relevant information or providing a justification.

Additionally, it was argued that temporary bail was given in defiance of the Supreme Court’s several directives. Only in very exceptional situations may it be given. Regular bail cannot be replaced with interim bail.

The court just extended them temporary bail.
The IAS Study Circle case at RAU has accused and charged Abhishek Gupta and Deshpal Singh. All six of the defendants have received summonses after the court took notice of the charge sheet.

This case concerns the July 26 drowning deaths of three UPSC candidates in the basement of RAU’s IAS Study Circle in Old Rajender Nagar.
