Ram Mohan Naidu met Shivraj Singh Chouhan on the issue of purchase of red chilli in Andhra Pradesh

New Delhi: On Friday, Union Agricultural Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Minister for Civil Aviation (MoCA), Ram Mohan Naidu, met to discuss the Andhra Pradesh red chili procurement problem. Naida discussed the matter with the media report, saying, “We met with Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today, primarily for an Andhra Pradesh problem. Inadequate red chili procurement is taking place in the state.

He said that Chandrababu Naidu, the state’s chief minister, had even sent a letter stating that the state government intended to purchase 30% of the red chilies.

“We want the central government to help us with this,” he said, pleading with the center to assist the state. The minister of agriculture has promised to assist us in every way he can.

According to the MoCA release, the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) also presided over a high-level meeting on Friday to examine and promote the nation’s production of airplane components.

Senior authorities, including Secretary V, attended the meeting.

Vualnam, DGCA Director General Faiz Ahmed, AAI Chairman Vipin Kumar, and officials from government agencies, OEMs, MROs, research institutions, and trade groups.

Strengthening local production and increasing India’s worldwide competitiveness in the manufacture of airplane components were the main topics of discussion.

“Fueled by strategic alliances with leading global aerospace firms and the growing demand for air travel, India’s aircraft component manufacturing sector is experiencing significant growth,” said the MoCA statement.

Due to the outstanding quality and reliability of the local sector, major multinational OEMs are increasingly buying components from India.

“I can confidently state that we are already at a respectable position in the global civil aviation arena, but our ambition now is to be in the lead,” the Union Minister said, citing the Prime Minister’s vision for Made in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat in the aerospace industry as inspiration. Our ministries and agencies must work closely with industry to create a whole ecosystem that includes talent development, design, manufacture, maintenance, certification, and information exchange.
