Rahul Gandhi said this on the clash in Parliament

Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, accused the BJP of being “anti-Ambedkar and anti-Constitution,” saying that BJP MPs attempted to bar them from entering Parliament after their demonstration. Gandhi said the ruling party is using these tactics to deflect attention from the Adani issue and Home Minister Amit Shah’s comments about BR Ambedkar.

Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, accused the governing party MPs of purposefully impeding the opposition’s attempts to bring up problems in Parliament at a joint news conference with Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge.

“The Adani matter surfaced in America a few days before to the Parliament session, and the BJP attempted to halt the conversation about it. The BJP’s fundamental tactic was to conceal the Adani matter and prevent any discussion of it. The primary problem began with a US litigation against Adani.

The BJP’s approach was to prevent the House from discussing this matter. Amit Shah’s comments followed. In the House, their Home Minister said that the BJP and the RSS are anti-Ambedkar and anti-Constitutional, he claimed.

“Their MPs were waiting at the entrance to prevent us from entering the House. The Home Minister need to apologize and step down. The administration wants to deflect criticism. Rahul Gandhi said, “The primary problem is that Modiji’s friend Adani has a case against him in the US and does not want a discussion on this.”

MPs from the BJP-led NDA and INDIA blocs demonstrated on the grounds of Parliament, and BJP officials said that two MPs were hurt during the ensuing altercation.

Pratap Chandra Sarangi, a BJP MP, said that Rahul Gandhi shoved him, causing him pain.

Sarangi said that he suffered a head injury when another member of Parliament fell on him as he was standing on stairs.

“I collapsed because Rahul Gandhi shoved a member of Parliament, who then fell on me…When Rahul Gandhi arrived and shoved an MP, who then fell on me, I was standing close to the steps,” Sarangi told reporters. An ambulance was sent to treat the BJP MP.

The MPs were both admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Delhi.

Rahul Gandhi had previously claimed that he was attempting to enter the Parliament when the BJP MPs demonstrating close to the entrance assaulted and threatened him. He said that Mallikarjun Kharge, the leader of the Congress, was also pressured.

You may have this on your camera. BJP MPs were attempting to push me back, halt me, and threaten me as I attempted to enter via the Parliament entrance. This has occurred…Gandhi informed reporters, “Yes, this has happened (Mallikarjun Kharge being pushed).”
