“The people of the Northeast are upset and upset with Rahul Gandhi for his actions against the Nagaland MP. “Rahul Gandhi needs to apologize to her,” the chief minister of Assam said.

“It is really upsetting that Rahul Gandhi injured two senior Members of Parliament today and yelled at an Hon’ble MP who was one of our sisters from Nagaland. “He needs to apologize,” stated Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

The chief minister of Assam has vehemently denounced it.

Earlier, when INDIA bloc leaders demonstrated at the Parliament grounds, BJP MP Phangnon Konyak said that she “felt very uncomfortable” with the Lok Sabha Leader of the Opposition reportedly approaching her and yelling at her.

Konyak was discussing the INDIA bloc’s and the NDA’s concurrent rallies over Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s comments against B. R. Ambedkar. Two BJP MPs were hurt in a brawl that broke out during the demonstrations.

“I say this from the bottom of my heart, and I have already asked for your protection. Today’s demonstration was nonviolent. I was standing just under Makar Dwar’s stairway. I am feeling really discouraged because of something that occurred to me. LoP Rahul Gandhi approached me rather closely, which made me feel uneasy. He also yelled at me, which I believe is highly inappropriate for an opposition leader. MP Konyak said in Parliament, “It is not that I am incapable of defending myself, but it is still incredibly disrespectful.”

Additionally, she sent a notification to Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar requesting protection.

“I thought his behavior today was absolutely awful, and I’m discouraged. No woman member, much less myself, should have to feel this way. I have already written you a notice, sir (the chairman of the Rajya Sabha), thus I am asking for your protection in this case,” she stated.
