R. Madhavan’s film ‘Hisab Barabar’ will have its world premiere at the 55th edition of IFFI
The film ‘Hisaab Barabar’, directed by R. Madhavan, will have its global debut at the 55th edition of the International Film Festival of India.
Ashwni Dhir is the director of the film, which will be shown at the festival in Goa on November 26.
According to the film’s producers, Madhavan portrays “Radhe Mohan Sharma,” a careful railway ticket inspector who notices a minor but unexplainable anomaly in his bank account.
A little problem quickly turns into a bigger one, as he discovers a huge financial scam that was masterminded by influential banker Micky Mehta (Neil Nitin Mukesh). Realizing that relationships, unlike balance sheets, cannot be resolved just by statistics, Radhe fights against systematic corruption while simultaneously navigating the complexity of his own personal life.
The project also involves Kirti Kulhari.
“I’m honored to present Hisaab Barabar at the 55th IFFI,” director Ashwni Dhir said in a press release, expressing his enthusiasm for the film’s debut. More than just a thriller, this movie makes a statement on how difficult it is to find the truth in a society where lies are rampant. We examine the intricacies of an average person attempting to make sense of a society where justice often seems unattainable via Radhe’s journey. Our partnership with Jio Studios and SP Cinecorp is something I’m really proud of, and I hope Hisaab Barabar entertains viewers while also getting them to consider the conflict between good and evil.
Hisaab Barabar, an SP Cinecorp production, is presented by Jio Studio. Jyoti Deshpande, Sharad Patel, and Shreyanshi Patel produced the film, which was directed by Ashwni Dhir.
