Priyanka Gandhi, Navya Haridas of the BJP, and Sathyan Mokeri of the CPI engaged in a triangular struggle in Wayanad, a Congress stronghold.

In the meantime, Congressman Ravindra Vasantrao Chavan will also be sworn in as a Lok Sabha member.

In a by-election, Ravindra Vasantrao Chavan of the Congress received 5,86,788 votes to win the Nanded Lok Sabha seat. After Vasantrao Balwantrao Chavan, the Congress MP in office, passed away, the seat became vacant, and a by-election was required.

Additionally, Tokhan Sahu, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, and Suresh Gopi, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, will place the documents on the table in the Lok Sabha today.

After collecting her certificate of election on Wednesday, Priyanka Gandhi expressed her joy, calling it a sign of love, trust, and dedication to common principles.

“Today, my Wayanad colleagues delivered my certificate of election. It is more than simply a paper to me; it is a representation of your love, faith, and the principles we share. “Thank you for selecting me to continue this journey to create a better future for you, Wayanad,” she wrote on X.

Following her victory in Wayanad on November 23, Priyanka Gandhi thanked the electorate for their support.

You have my sincere thanks for your confidence in me. Over time, I will ensure that you really believe that this win is your own and that the person you have chosen to represent you is aware of your aspirations and fights for you as if you were their own. “I’m excited to represent you in Parliament,” she said on X.

When her brother Rahul Gandhi was elected to the Lok Sabha from Wayanad in this year’s general elections, he moved to Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh, leaving the Wayanad seat vacant.

In 15 states, 48 assembly seats and two Lok Sabha seats were up for grabs in the by-elections. Notable races included those in Uttar Pradesh and Wayanad, Kerala, where Priyanka Gandhi made her first appearance in politics.
