Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 19th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana from Bhagalpur
Bhagalpur: On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated a number of development projects from Bhagalpur, Bihar, to the country and unveiled the 19th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.

At the event, the Prime Minister was joined by Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Bihar Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
“It is a matter of great fortune for us that the PM is releasing the instalment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana into the accounts of farmers from the land of Bihar,” Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said during his speech at the event.
“This includes more than 76,000. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said, “This is a very important central government scheme that is directly benefitting farmers.”
Speaking at the gathering as well, Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan commended Prime Minister Modi for launching the Kisan Samman Nidhi program, calling it a gift for farmers.
He emphasized that, in contrast to earlier Congress administrations that never credited money directly into farmers’ accounts, the PM was aware of their difficulties.
This gift has never been given before. PM Modi recognized small farmers’ suffering. Farmers’ accounts were never directly credited with funds by Congress governments. Small farmers’ lives have been changed by a program called Kisan Samman Nidhi,” Chouhan said.
Shortly before he unveiled the 19th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana and launched a number of development projects, Prime Minister Modi was seen having an open discussion with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
To witness Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a sizable audience had gathered at the gathering.
PM-KISAN, or PM Kisan Samman Nidhi A Central Sector Scheme called Yojana was introduced on February 24, 2019, and it offers each qualified farming family Rs. 6,000 in financial aid annually. More than 11 crore farmer households nationwide have received more than Rs. 3.46 lakh crore in 18 installments so far.
In Bihar, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is made up of the BJP, JD(U), Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Hindustan Awam Morcha, and Rashtriya Lok Morcha.
All 243 seats in the Bihar Legislative Assembly will be up for election in October or November of this year. In October and November of 2020, the most recent assembly elections were conducted.
