President Murmu presented the Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award to 17 children in seven categories
On Thursday, 17 youngsters in seven categories received the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar from President Droupadi Murmu in recognition of their outstanding accomplishments in a variety of professions.
Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre hosted the event.
In seven categories—art and culture, courage, innovation, science and technology, social service, and the environment—the prize recognizes exceptional achievements.
The President thanked all of the prize recipients and stated that society and the whole nation are proud of them in his remarks on the occasion. Children have accomplished incredible feats, done wonderful work, have infinite potential, and have exceptional talents, she informed them. They have provided a model for the nation’s youth.
According to the President, it has long been our custom to provide youngsters opportunity and to acknowledge their abilities. She emphasized the need to further deepen this heritage.
“These award winners will be enlightened citizens of the country in 2047, when we celebrate the centenary of India’s independence,” she remarked. A prosperous India will be built by these gifted boys and girls.
According to the president, seeing youngsters who have won awards demonstrate patriotism strengthens our belief in our nation’s bright future. Patriotism guides both young and elderly toward total commitment to the country’s well-being.
Children are guided toward loyalty to the cause of national interest by the spirit of patriotism. The accomplishments of kids like these, in my opinion, will propel India to the highest level of development. We have a long history of valuing and providing opportunities for children’s talent. “We should strengthen this tradition,” she continued.
At the ‘Veer Baal Diwas,’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the Sahibzades’ bravery and sacrifice, stating that they are the cornerstones of India’s robust democracy.
“Sahibzades’ courage and sacrifice are the pillars behind India’s strong democracy that India is proud of today,” he said. We are taking part in the third Veer Baal Diwas program today.
To honor the bravery and sacrifices of the Sahibzades, our government began commemorating this day,” PM Modi said.
