President JP Nadda accused the Congress of promoting urban Naxalite forces in the country

Mumbai: On Wednesday, Union Health Minister and President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), JP Nadda, said that Congress was encouraging urban Naxal groups in the nation and that Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray had formed an alliance with them.

“Congress is promoting urban Naxal forces in the country, and Uddhav Thackeray–the son of Hindu Hriday Samrat, Balasaheb Thackeray–has joined hands with Congress,” Nadda said.

Speaking at a business gathering in Mumbai, the BJP chief also charged that Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha and a Congressman, was inciting division with his “Mohabbat Ki Dukaan” and urged people to vote for the BJP in the November 20 Maharashtra assembly elections.

Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Mohabbat ki Dukan’ sells batware ka saman. We must respond to such individuals. Some individuals have such beliefs, but we must maintain the strength of our country. Sometimes a good antibiotic is necessary for a healthy country. Additionally, you must provide an antibiotic on November 20th,” he said.

According to him, the goal of the BJP and PM Modi is to change India’s political culture rather than just seize power. “The BJP and Prime Minister Modi want to change India’s political culture, not just gain power. In the past, contentious strategies like vote-bank politics, nepotism, corruption, and dynastic influence dominated politics. PM Modi has prioritized pro-poor and performance-driven government and radically changed the emphasis to a culture of development, accountability, and transparency. This change signifies a change in political culture. The shifting political expectations have forced even the opposition, which historically did not place a high priority on manifestos, to concentrate on responsibility,” he added.

According to Nadda, the Modi administration has made social and economic inclusion a top priority in its development plan in order to empower the underprivileged.

“In its development strategy, the Modi administration has prioritized promoting social and financial inclusion. Giving the underprivileged and disenfranchised segments of society the strength to succeed is what social inclusiveness is all about. The BJP, in contrast to others, empowers the underprivileged rather than just giving them money. According to him, the BJP finances projects that empower individuals to become self-sufficient so they may advance and create a brighter future.

The leader of the BJP later prayed at the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple.

In Maharashtra, political campaigning is intensifying as the election date draws closer.

In an attempt to regain control of the state, the opposition MVA coalition—which consists of the Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT), and Nationalist Congress Party (SCP)—will take against the Mahayuti alliance, which is made up of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Ajit Pawar-led NCP, and the Shiv Sena, headed by Eknath Shinde.

Votes will be tallied on November 23 after the Maharashtra Assembly elections, which are scheduled for November 20.

The Congress won 44 seats, the Shiv Sena 56, and the BJP 105 in the 2019 Maharashtra assembly elections. In 2014, the Congress won 42 seats, the Shiv Sena 63, and the BJP 122.
