Prayagraj police demonstrated anti-drone technology before Maha Kumbh

Prayagraj: Prayagraj Police demonstrated anti-drone equipment Thursday ahead of the Mahakumbh. The anti-drone technology demonstration was carried out today. Only authorized drones will be permitted during the Maha Kumbh Mela.This will stop unauthorized drones from operating during the mela. SSP Mahakumbh Rajesh Dwivedi informed the media that the unlawful drones will be confiscated.

In order to provide the devotees who will be traveling to Prayagraj for Mahakumbh 2025 a pleasant stay, natural huts and tents with contemporary amenities will be constructed.

According to Vivek Chaturvedi, Prayagraj’s Additional District Magistrate, over 2000 tents would be constructed and available for reservations for guests to have a nice stay.

According to the ADM, the tents would offer five-star amenities.

The Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation Limited (UPSTDC) is working on the initiative with six important partners: Aagaman, Kumbh Camp India, Rishikul Kumbh Cottage, Kumbh Village, Kumbh Canvas, and Era, according to an official statement.

These tents will have five-star hotel-quality amenities and be built to international standards. The four types of lodging available in the tent city are Villa, Maharaja, Swiss Cottage, and Dormitory, and daily rates will range from Rs 1,500 to Rs 35,000.

Extra visitors (not including dorms) would incur additional fees of Rs 4,000 to Rs 8,000. The goal of this large-scale project is to serve the anticipated 45 crore tourists from 75 nations.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision is being followed in the development of the tent city. These tents, which will provide top-notch lodging options, will be open from January 1 to March 5 and are anticipated to welcome an estimated 45 crore pilgrims. According to the statement, guests may reserve lodging using the Mahakumbh app or the UPSTDC website.

On January 13, 2025, Mahakumbh begins with Paush Purnima Snan. On February 26, 2025, the day of Mahashivratri, the Kumbh festival will come to an end with the last bath.
