Prayagraj: Mahamandaleshwar Arun Giri injured in a road accident on the way to Maha Kumbh
Prayagraj: A vehicle accident in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, on Friday night wounded Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Arun Giri Maharaj of Shri Panchdashnam Aawahan Akhara. While traveling from Delhi to Allahabad, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Arun Giri Maharaj, the Peethadheeshwar of Awahan Akhara, was injured in a traffic accident.
The car crashed head-on into an Innova that was making a careless effort to pass on Friday night, around 20 kilometers before the city. Due to an injury, Arun Giri has been hospitalized at the Swaroop Rani Nehru (SRN) Hospital in Prayagraj.
“An Innova came from the front and hit us directly while cutting across lanes,” driver Bhanu told ANI. I had a head injury, and Maharaj Ji was struck in the chest. The front of our Fortuner is totally wrecked.
Maharaj ji is being watched in a separate room, according to Dr. Neeraj, an emergency medical officer at SRN Hospital. He is getting comprehensive medical care, and his condition is stable. The Acharya Ji has received complete medical attention and will spend the night under monitoring.
Geetanand Giri, the secretary of Awahan Akhara, attested to the incidence. “Acharya Ji was traveling from Delhi to Allahabad for a conference. When an Innova carelessly passed, the accident occurred abruptly. Fortunately, there are no life-threatening injuries,” he stated.
