PM Narendra Modi will visit Prayagraj today and inaugurate and launch several development projects

New Delhi: On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will go to Uttar Pradesh, where he will inaugurate and launch a number of development projects in Prayagraj that are estimated to be worth Rs 5,500 crore.

The Prime Minister’s Office reports that he would go to Prayagraj to offer pooja and darshan at Sangam Nose at around 12:15 p.m.

“The Prime Minister will thereafter conduct darshan and pooja at Hanuman Mandir and Saraswati Koop after doing pooja at Akshay Vata Vriksh. He is going to see the Mahakumbh display site. He would next inaugurate and start a number of development projects in Prayagraj that will cost around Rs 5,500 crore, according to the statement.

The Prime Minister will launch a number of Mahakumbh 2025 initiatives. In order to improve infrastructure and provide smooth connectivity in Prayagraj, it would include a number of rail and road projects, such as ten new Road Over Bridges (RoBs) or flyovers, permanent Ghats, and riverside roadways, among others.

The Prime Minister will also launch initiatives to intercept, tap, divert, and treat tiny drains that flow to the Ganga as part of his commitment to Swachh and Nirmal Ganga. This will guarantee that there is no untreated water released into the river.

Additionally, he will launch a number of electricity and drinking water infrastructure projects.

Major temple corridors, including the Hanuman Mandir Corridor, the Akshayvat Corridor, the Shringverpur Dham Corridor, and the Bharadwaj Ashram Corridor, will be inaugurated by the prime minister.

These initiatives will facilitate access for followers and promote spiritual travel.

The Prime Minister will also introduce the Kumbh Sah’AI’yak chatbot, which will provide devotees information to guide them and provide them with updates on the Mahakumbh Mela 2025 activities.
