The Government of Odisha is hosting the flagship Global Investment Summit, the Utkarsh Odisha-Made in Odisha Conclave 2025, in Bhubaneswar, with the goal of establishing the state as the focal point of the Purvodaya vision and a premier industrial center and investment destination in India.
The Make in Odisha Exhibition, which showcases the state’s accomplishments in creating a thriving industrial environment, will also be opened by Prime Minister Modi. The conclave will take place over two days, from January 28 to 29. It will provide a forum for business executives, financiers, and legislators to get together and talk about the advantages Odisha provides as a top investment location.
In order to ensure focused interaction with investors worldwide, the conclave will include CEOs and Leaders’ Roundtables, sectoral sessions, B2B interactions, and policy discussions.
The 38th National Games will be opened in Dehradun by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is being hosted in Uttarakhand during its Silver Jubilee year and will take place from January 28 to February 14 in 11 cities spread across eight districts.
36 states and one union territory will compete in the National Games, according to the announcement. There will be tournaments for 35 sporting disciplines over the course of 17 days. Of these, 33 sports will get medals, while two will be exhibition sports. For the first time, yoga and mallakhamb are part of the National Games. The competition will include around 10,000 participants from all throughout the nation.
In keeping with sustainability, this year’s National Games theme is “Green Games.” Near the site, a unique park known as the Sports Forest will be created, where players and visitors will plant over 10,000 trees. Eco-friendly and biodegradable materials will be used to create the athletes’ medals and diplomas.
