In addition to giving keys to qualified recipients at the Swabhiman Apartments in Ashok Vihar, Delhi, the Prime Minister will officially open the 1,675 freshly built apartments for residents of JJ clusters.

The Delhi Development Authority’s (DDA) second successful In-Situ Slum Rehabilitation Project will be completed with the opening of freshly built apartments.

The project’s goal is to provide the people who live in Delhi’s JJ clusters a better, healthier living environment with all the services and resources they need.

Eligible recipients pay less than 7% of the entire amount spent by the government on building an apartment, which includes Rs 30,000 for five years of upkeep and Rs 1.42 lakh as a minimum contribution.

Additionally, PM Modi will officially open two urban rehabilitation projects: the General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) Type-II Quarters in Sarojini Nagar and the World Trade Centre (WTC) in Nauroji Nagar.

Around 34 lakh square feet of first-rate business space with cutting-edge services are available at the World Trade Centre in Nauroji Nagar, which has completely changed the region by erecting modern commercial buildings in place of more than 600 run-down quarters.

With features including a zero-discharge concept, solar energy production, and rainwater collection systems, the project integrates green construction techniques.

With 28 buildings housing more than 2,500 residential apartments and contemporary facilities, the GPRA Type-II Quarters in Sarojini Nagar make effective use of available space. In order to promote eco-conscious living, the project’s design includes solar-powered garbage compactors, sewage and water treatment facilities, and rainfall collecting systems.

Additionally, the Prime Minister will open the about Rs 300 crore CBSE Integrated Office Complex in Dwarka, Delhi. Among other things, it has an auditorium, offices, a state-of-the-art computer center, and an extensive water management system. The environmentally friendly structure was planned in accordance with the Indian Green Building Council’s (IGBC) Platinum Rating guidelines and was built to strict environmental standards.

At Delhi University, the Prime Minister will lay the cornerstone for three new projects totaling more than Rs 600 crore. It consists of the Western Campus in Dwarka and the Eastern Campus at Surajmal Vihar in East Delhi. Additionally, it entails constructing Veer Savarkar College in Roshanpura, Najafgarh, which would have cutting-edge educational facilities.
