PM Modi watched the screening of the film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ in the Balayogi Auditorium of Parliament House this afternoon
Today afternoon, Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to Parliament House’s Balyogi Auditorium to see the Sabarmati Report film.
Images from Parliament showed PM Modi strolling to the auditorium with Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, and Rajnath Singh, the Defense Minister, were among the other politicians who showed up at the auditorium earlier today for the screening.
Based on the horrific February 27, 2002, burning of the S-6 coach of the Sabarmati Express at Godhra station in Gujarat, “The Sabarmati Report” stars Vikrant Massey.
The movie, which has been deemed tax-free in a number of states, including Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Odisha, Haryana, Gujarat, and Rajasthan, raises awareness about the Godhra event of 2002. Actress and BJP MP Hema Malini is among the political figures who have hailed it.
One of the film’s producers, Ektaa Kapoor, recently discussed the film’s considerable study. “We reviewed prior research and fact-checked those findings for a year,” she said. We didn’t start working on the movie until after that. I am so honored to have produced this film, which reveals the truth about it.
Since PM Modi officially praised the film’s attempt to expose the truth, it has received a lot of attention.
PM Modi responded, “Well said,” in response to a post on X that included the movie’s trailer. The fact that this reality is being revealed in a form that the general public can understand is a positive thing. There is a limit to how long a false story can continue. The truth will always surface in due time.
A number of chief ministers attended the film’s premiere and gave it high marks, and several states decided to make it tax-free. CMs Yogi Adityanath of Uttar Pradesh, Pramod Sawant of Goa, and Nayab Saini of Haryana also praised the movie for honoring the 59 people who perished in the disaster.
Vikrant Massey, Ridhi Dogra, and Raashii Khanna play important parts in Dheeraj Sarna’s film “The Sabarmati Report.” Under the auspices of Vikir Films Production and Balaji Motion Pictures, Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan, and Anshul Mohan are producing the movie.
