PM Modi to inaugurate and launch ‘One Year-Results Utkarsh’ in Rajasthan today
Jaipur: The Prime Minister’s office has announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would go to Rajasthan on Tuesday to participate in the ‘Ek Varsh-Parinaam Utkarsh’ event.
He is expected to launch and lay the foundation stone for at least 24 projects totaling more than Rs 46,300 crore at the occasion, according to the PMO. The occasion commemorates the state government’s one-year anniversary.
The energy, transportation, railway, and water sectors are all represented in the projects that Jaipur will launch today.
The Prime Minister will also unveil nine projects totaling more than Rs 11,000 crore, including two state and seven federal government initiatives. According to the statement, he would also lay the groundwork for 15 projects totaling more than Rs 35,300 crore, including six state and nine federal government projects.
Navnera Barrage, Smart Electricity Transmission Network and Asset Management System projects, railway electrification of the Bhildi-Samdari-Luni-Jodhpur-Merta Road-Degana-Ratangarh section, and Package 12 of Delhi-Vadodara Green Field Alignment (NH-148N) (major bridge over Mej River up to the junction with SH-37A) are among the projects being inaugurated during the event, according to the release. In keeping with the prime minister’s green energy strategy, these initiatives will let people travel more easily and meet the state’s energy demands.
According to the statement, the Prime Minister will lay the cornerstone for the building of the Ramgarh and Mahalpur barrages as well as the system that would use an aqueduct on the Chambal River to transport water from the Navnera barrage to Bisalpur Dam and Isarda Dam at a cost of more than Rs 9,400 crore.
In addition, PM Modi will lay the groundwork for the construction of a 2000 megawatt (MW) solar park and two phases of 1000 MW solar parks in Poogal (Bikaner), the installation of rooftop solar plants on government office buildings, the retrofitting of the Chambal-Dholpur-Bharatpur, and the drinking water transmission line from Saipau (Dholpur) to Bharatpur-Deeg-Kumher-Nagar-Kaman-Pahari. Along with other energy transmission-related projects, the statement said that foundation stones will also be set for the Luni-Samdari-Bhildi Double Line, Ajmer-Chanderiya Double Line, and Jaipur-Sawai Madhopur Double Line railway projects.
