PM Modi said this today while highlighting the courage of Sahibzaades on ‘Veer Bal Diwas’
During the ‘Veer Baal Diwas,’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the Sahibzades‘ bravery and sacrifice, stating that they are the cornerstones of India’s robust democracy.
On “Veer Baal Diwas,” PM Modi was speaking at a gathering at the nation’s capital’s Bharat Mandapam.
“Sahibzades’ courage and sacrifice are the pillars behind India’s strong democracy that India is proud of today,” he said.
“We are taking part in the third Veer Baal Diwas program today. To honor the bravery and sacrifices of the Sahibzades, our government began commemorating this day,” PM Modi said.
During his speech, he thanked the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar awardees on this special occasion.
“Today, 17 students from throughout the country are being honored in areas like as athletics, art, science and technology, courage, and creativity. They have shown the abilities of India’s youngsters and adolescents. They and their families deserve my congratulations. I shall commemorate the Sahibzades’ selfless sacrifice today,” Prime Minister Modi said.
Remembering their bravery in the face of the Mughal Empire, he illuminates the lives of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh.
“Despite their youth, Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh had more bravery. Sahibzaade accepted the Mughal Empire’s torture while ignoring it.PM Modi said, “This Veer Baal Diwas day teaches us that nothing is bigger than the country and its interests, no matter how difficult the times are.”
“Every act of bravery is done for the country; every young man and child who lives for his country is ‘Veer Balak.'”” Since this year marks the 75th anniversary of the creation of our constitution, the day is much more significant. Young people’s enthusiasm has been crucial to India’s development. Every revolution in India has included young people,” he said.
“From startups to science and from sports to entrepreneurship, our youths in the country are bringing revolution in every field,” he remarked, showcasing the accomplishments of the nation’s young people.
PM Modi previously met and spoke with Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar awardees for 2024.
At a ceremony today at Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre, President Droupadi Murmu awarded the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar to 17 youngsters in seven categories in recognition of their outstanding accomplishments.
On 9 January 2022, Prime Minister Modi said that December 26 will be ‘Veer Baal Diwas’ in honor of the bravery of Sahibzades (the sons of Guru Gobind Singh) and their pursuit of justice.
