“On #WomensDay, we give thanks to our Nari Shakti! Women’s empowerment has always been a priority for our government, and this is evident in our policies and initiatives. The Prime Minister said, “As promised, today, women who are making a difference in a variety of fields will take over my social media properties.”

In a unique gesture earlier on February 23, PM Modi said that he would give his social media accounts, including X and Instagram, to a chosen group of inspirational women on Women’s Day (March 8) so they may share their work and experiences with their fellow citizens.

These women, who have achieved success in a variety of sectors, would utilize the platforms to share their accomplishments, experiences, and problems with the country, PM Modi said in his speech at the 119th edition of Mann Ki Baat.

“This time, on Women’s Day, I’m going to launch a project that will honor the strength of women. On this unique occasion, I will dedicate a day to a select inspirational woman in our nation by giving her access to my social media accounts, such as Instagram and X. These women have successfully innovated, succeeded in a variety of disciplines, and left a lasting impression. They will share their efforts and experiences with their fellow citizens on March 8th,” he said.

“The platform may be mine, but their experiences, challenges and achievements will be discussed there,” said the prime minister.

Through the NAMO App, PM Modi asked women to take part in this unique effort and encouraged them to share their thoughts with people across the world.

“Become a part of this experiment and share your message with the world via my X and Instagram profiles if you want this chance to be yours. A unique forum was developed on the NAMO App. Therefore, let us honor and celebrate women’s unwavering strength on this Women’s Day,” he remarked.
