PM Modi captured happy moments with selfie
On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a photo with a tribal couple at an exhibition stand in Jamui, Bihar, that showcased goods from tribal groups in honor of Janajatiya Gaurav Diwas.
The pair, Dharmadurai and Ezhilarasi, who are from Tamil Nadu’s Ariyalur district, put up a stand during the festival among other people.
The pair, who are from a well-respected Irula clan, were given the chance to take a picture with the prime minister at the event.
On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi began celebrating the 150th anniversary of the tribal leader Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s birth by visiting Jamui, Bihar, on the occasion of “Janjatiya Gaurav Divas” and paying respect to him.
PM Modi was seen wearing an olive green ethnic jacket, a white kurta, and a churidar. With a traditional dance performance, he was welcomed with open arms.
In addition, he bent down and offered flowers to a statue of Birsa Munda in Jamui.
In order to demonstrate the government’s dedication to tribal welfare, PM Modi on Friday presented a number of development projects in Jamui, Bihar. These projects include plans to upgrade infrastructure, provide training, and generate jobs for young people, all of which are intended to promote the overall development of tribal communities.
As the celebration of Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s 150th birthday began in Jamui, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated development projects valued at Rs 6,640 crore.
At the ceremony, Prime Minister Modi also unveiled a commemorative coin and postal stamp.
PM Modi emphasized the government’s dedication to tribal upliftment when speaking at the Jamui rally. He cited the introduction of the Dharti Aaba, Janjatiya Gram, and Utkarsh Abhiyan programs, which are intended to improve more than 60,000 tribal communities.
PM Modi participated in the Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas festivities by mingling with the dancers and playing a traditional dhol.
