“BJP’s fear and desperation show that they have lost,” Pandey told ANI. The people of Jharkhand have made the decision to support Hemant Soren and progress rather than those who incite hate. Voters began casting ballots in significant numbers today. The INDI coalition and JMM’s supporters will undoubtedly cast many ballots; women are casting many ballots, and we will undoubtedly retake power.”

With important contenders including former Chief Minister Champai Soren and Congress leader Ajoy Kumar in the race, the BJP-led NDA hopes to overthrow the JMM-led alliance.

Mahua Maji, a JMM candidate from Ranchi, urged voters to support her earlier today.

Maji said that she plans to change the state capital of Jharkhand, highlighting her background in a variety of fields.

“I want there to be development,” Mahua Maji said. I want to turn Ranchi into a capital since it doesn’t appear like one.I’ve worked in a variety of fields. I’ve worked for the Women’s Commission before. I have gained a great deal of knowledge from my travels across the globe.

She said that she has a broad vision and hopes to support the growth of the city and the state.

“People should be able to live in a clean environment with an adequate drainage system even while they are going about their daily lives. Hemant Soren, the current chief minister, wants to build a dozen flyovers to ease traffic. Recently, an elegant transit Nager was constructed. In order to provide people with a wide range of amenities, we want to establish medical schools, engineering schools, MBA programs, universities, Sahitya Academy, Lalit Kala Academy, Sangeet Natya Academy, and Film City. “I also want to introduce the IT industry to Ranchi,” she said.

Mahua Maji is running against incumbent MLA CP Singh of the BJP from the Ranchi seat.

Voting for 43 of the 81 seats in the state started Wednesday morning in the first round of the Jharkhand assembly elections.

Around 7:00 am marked the start of Jharkhand’s first round of voting, with voters from 15 districts and 43 constituencies casting votes. 73 women are among the 683 candidates whose fates will be decided by the outcome.
