Om Prakash Chautala will be cremated with state honors once his corpse is transported to Teja Kheda
Sirsa: Chaudhary Om Prakash Chautala, the INLD supremo and former Haryana Chief Minister, has had his mortal remains transported to Teja Khera. At 3 p.m. today, his last ceremonies will be performed with full state honors.
Following the death of Chautala, the leader of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), the Haryana government earlier today announced a vacation for all state schools.
“In accordance with the fax message received from the Chief Secretary, Government of Haryana, dated December 20, the state has decided to observe three days of mourning in view of the death of Chaudhary Om Prakash Chautala, Ex-Chief Minister of Haryana, on December 20,” the Directorate of School Education, Government of Haryana, said in a notice.
As a tribute to the deceased, the Haryana government has proclaimed a public holiday in all state offices. As a result, December 21 is designated as a holiday in all state schools. It is requested that all DEOs and DEEOs make sure that the aforementioned instructions are followed.
The government has chosen to hold the deceased leader’s state funeral at Teja Khera farm in Sirsa on December 21 at 3:00 p.m.
INLD leader and Om Prakash Chautala’s nephew, Aditya Chautala, stated, “His mortal remains have been brought to the farmhouse.” His mortal remains will be stored for citizens and party workers to pay their last respects tomorrow, December 21, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“I express my deep condolences on the demise of senior leader Chaudhary Om Prakash Chautala ji,” CM Saini stated in his tribute. His passing marks the end of a chapter in Haryana politics. We shall never forget his contribution to Haryana politics. The character of Chautala ji was a representation of hardship and simplicity.
