Oil marketing companies announced a cut of Rs 41 in LPG gas cylinder prices
New Delhi: Starting on Tuesday, oil marketing firms would lower the cost of commercial 19-kilogram LPG gas cylinders by Rs 41. As of right now, a 19-kilogram commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi costs Rs 1762 at retail. Commercial LPG cylinder rates were already lowered by Rs 7 on February 1.

In the meanwhile, LPG prices are often updated by oil firms in response to changes in the price of crude oil globally and other variables. This modification does not affect the cost of residential LPG cylinders, which are used for cooking in homes.
The prices for 19-kilogram commercial LPG cylinders were raised by the oil firms by Rs 62 in December. Small enterprises and commercial organizations that depend significantly on LPG for their operations are anticipated to be impacted by these price changes.
The update follows a larger pattern of gasoline price changes in reaction to shifting global market circumstances, which has been evident recently as a result of the unstable world order.
Restaurants, lodging facilities, and other businesses that depend on these cylinders for everyday operations would be directly impacted by this price change. Households are somewhat relieved that domestic LPG cylinder rates have remained unchanged despite the rise in commercial LPG costs.
State-by-state variations in LPG pricing are caused by local taxes and shipping expenses. Even if the reduction is little, businesses nationwide will profit from the lower rates.
