According to Netflix India’s description of Vijay 69, “An adventurous, foul-mouthed former swimming coach reaches for record-breaking glory when he attempts a triathlon at 69 years old.” On November 8, the OTT portal began streaming the Yash Raj Films (YRF) production, which starred Anupam Kher, Chunky Panday, and Mihir Ahuja.
The film and the actor’s performance have been lauded by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, who directed Kher in popular films including The Kashmir Files.

The Signature, an October 4 ZEE5 original, was Anupam Kher’s most recent appearance. Mahima Chaudhry, Neena Kulkarni, Ranvir Shorey, and Annu Kapoor are also featured in the poignant drama.
In Kangana Ranaut’s historical drama Emergency, Kher portrays Jayaprakash Narayan. The release of the film has been delayed for many months. During the film, Ranaut portrays Indira Gandhi.
Chhota Bheem and the Curse of Damyaan was Kher’s last theatrical release. Guru Shambhu was portrayed by the seasoned Bollywood actor in the May release. The actor also starred in Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay and Kaagaz 2 this year.
In 2024, this is Chunky Pandey’s first film. In 2022, he was last seen in the multilingual sports drama Liger, which starred his daughter Ananya Panday and Vijay Deverakonda, the Tamil action-thriller Sardar, and the Gujarati historical drama Nayika Devi The Warrior Queen. Mike Tyson, the famed boxer, also appeared in the film.
