Minister Manohar Lal Khattar visited the NTPC pavilion at the ongoing India International Trade Fair 2024 at Bharat Mandapam
New Delhi: Manohar Lal Khattar, the Union Minister of Power, Housing, and Urban Affairs, paid a visit to the NTPC booth at the India International Trade Fair 2024 on Sunday, which is being held in the nation’s capital at Bharat Mandapam.
Khattar toured the displays highlighting the most recent developments in the power industry with the Secretary of the Ministry of Power, CMDs of Power Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), and top officials from the Ministry of Power and Power Sector CPSEs.
Following his visit, Manohar Lal Khattar said that the NTPC booth at the trade show serves as a public education session.
“The Department of Power has a booth at the trade show every year. Providing people with information about electricity transmission, generation, and distribution is crucial. Khattar, the Union Minister, told reporters.
“Visited the Ministry of Power & @ntpclimited pavilions at #IITF2024 today, showcasing India’s rapid strides towards a brighter, greener, and more sustainable future,” Khattar said in a post on X, which included the photos from the visit.
“These initiatives reflect Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi Ji’s vision for a transformed energy and infrastructure landscape by 2047,” the remainder of his X post says.
Notably, the India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) is organizing the 43rd edition of the trade show, which will take place in the nation’s capital from November 14 to November 27.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was also present at Pragati Maidan on Sunday for the 43rd International Trade Fair (IITF-2024).
The Chief Minister said that the demand for Uttarakhand-made items is rising nationwide while touring the booths showcasing the state’s indigenous products.
“The demand for products manufactured in Uttarakhand, including those under the ‘House of Himalaya’ brand, has been rising across India,” CM Pushkar Singh Dhami remarked, highlighting the growing demand for Uttarakhand-made goods. Women have benefited most from this expansion, which has increased their financial freedom and opened up job options. Uttarakhand-based producers will have a great opportunity to display their goods at this exhibition.
