Additionally, while the paid class anticipates income tax breaks, young people are searching for announcements that will result in additional employment.

Mumbai resident TG Pradhan said that he hoped for a higher tax refund.
“I’m hoping for a higher tax refund.Improvements should be made to train facilities. Since we take local trains, train frequency needs to be improved even more,” he said.

A Prayagraj student wants the government to do something to increase the number of jobs in the nation.
“The government should bring something that provides job opportunities to youth and also smoothens the process of education loans,” he said.

The standard deduction limit, which was Rs50,000 under the previous tax system and Rs75,000 under the current one, is also anticipated to rise, according to taxpayers.
With a goal of 4.5% in FY26, the government is anticipated to stick to its fiscal consolidation plan, reducing the budget deficit from 4.9% in FY25 to 4.8%.
