Manoj Bharti said that Prashant Kishor helped the police instead of inciting the crowd against him

Patna: In response to accusations of “provoking” students, Manoj Bharti, the working president of Jan Suraaj, said that Prashant Kishor assisted the police instead of inciting the populace to oppose them. “Baseless” is how he described the FIR against the founder of Jan Suraaj.

“The video footage from that location shows the truth behind the FIR against Prashant Kishor. You’ll see that instead of inciting the mob, Kishor assisted the cops. This was also recognized by the police officers on the scene. They expressed gratitude to Kishor for helping them. “The FIR is without merit,” Bharti said to reporters.

Speaking about his meeting with the Bihar Chief Secretary, Bharti said that they pressed for the demands of the students who have been protesting against the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) in a memorandum they handed to Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena.

Bharti said that since Prashant Kishor is still on a hunger strike and his health has been declining, the government has to take the students’ requests into account. In order to fix the concerns, he insisted that a five-member team be permitted to meet with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

“In our communication, we informed the Chief Secretary of the aspirants’ demands, which have been the subject of Prashant Kishor’s hunger strike. Prashant Kishor has been on a hunger strike for the last six days, and his health is becoming worse. A five-member delegation should be permitted to meet with the chief minister in light of this, Bharti told reporters, adding that the demands of the students should be taken into account.

This occurs when the creator of Jan Suraaj is receiving medical care in a hospital and is still fasting till the end of time.

Due to suspected question paper leaks, the students are demanding that the BPSC revoke the Integrated Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination (CCE) 2024, which was held on December 13.

An appeal alleging extensive malpractices at the 70th Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Preliminary Exam, which was conducted on December 13, 2024, was rejected by the Supreme Court on Tuesday. Justices Sanjay Kumar and KV Viswanathan, together with Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna, directed the petitioner to take their complaints to the Patna High Court.

Purnea MP Pappu Yadav, meanwhile, called for a statewide “Bihar Bandh” on January 12 in protest of the purported BPSC Preliminary Exam leak and urged everyone in the state to work together to help the impacted students and candidates.
