Manish Sisodia strongly criticized the BJP over the law and order situation in the capital and highlighted this
In the next Delhi Assembly Elections 2025, Manish Sisodia, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and a candidate for the Jangpura seat, has harshly attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for how it has handled maintaining peace and order in the nation’s capital.
While Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was able to effectively solve important concerns like hospitals, schools, and energy, Sisodia pointed out in a statement to ANI that the law and order situation has become worse under Home Minister Amit Shah’s direction.
“Kejriwal ji was tasked by the people of Delhi to improve hospitals, schools, and power. He improved government hospitals via his labor. Government schools are now excellent, there is a 24-hour power supply, and there is no longer an energy charge,” Sisodia said.
He went on, “Kejriwal ji handled all of the duties that he assigned him with excellence. However, the people of Delhi tasked Amit Shah and the BJP with maintaining peace and order.
However, what took place throughout his tenure? Murders and shootouts are occurring, and law and order has worsened. People believe that Amit Shah is incapable of managing law and order,” he said.
According to Sisodia, Delhi residents are becoming more and more irate with the BJP for not addressing these problems. “In this election, it’s peoples’ warning that Amit Shah should either improve law & order otherwise people know how to do that,” he said.
Sisodia also offered his thoughts on the contentious Rohingya refugee problem. Sisodia cited a 2022 tweet from BJP leader Hardeep Singh Puri in which he said that the party was rehabilitating Rohingyas in Delhi and asked Puri to provide an explanation.
“We are rehabilitating Rohingyas in Delhi, according to a tweet by Hardeep Singh Puri. Thus, Hardeep Puri need to respond to his 2022 tweet. “He ought to clarify where he rehabilitated Rohingyas,” Sisodia said.
