In an interview with the media, Chief Minister Yadav said that the summit’s goals were to promote economic growth and job creation.

“The people of Madhya Pradesh deserve my congratulations for the Global Investment Summit’s successful completion. All of the states should step forward to help India grow for the sake of wealth, jobs, and the PM’s determination. More money has been invested in us than we had anticipated. We’ll soon have a sizable monthly event in Indore to support the IT industry,” he said.

Rajendra Shukla, the deputy chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, emphasized that the state has benefited from over 30 lakh crores in investments.

“We had been stating that there are many investment prospects in Madhya Pradesh… Madhya Pradesh has received an investment of Rs. 30,77,000 crores after the Global Investors Summit. Our infrastructure was inadequate, but it has improved over the last 20 years as well. “It is a state with excess power,” Shukla said.

The “Invest MP Global Investor Summit” (GIS) 2025 took place in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, on February 24–25.

The two-day Global Investors Summit saw the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) totaling 30 lakh 77 thousand crore rupees, according to Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday. He also stated that the MoUs will be put into effect locally and assist the state government in establishing both large and ancillary industries in Madhya Pradesh.

He said this during the closing ceremony of the summit, emphasizing that the state government of Madhya Pradesh would be able to build both major and auxiliary businesses with the support of the Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) once they are put into practice.

Shah said that “more than 200 Indian companies, over 200 global CEOs, more than 20 unicorn founders, and representatives from more than 50 countries have come to invest and see the environment in Madhya Pradesh during the two-day summit.”

According to him, Madhya Pradesh is trying something different this time around by holding distinct investment summits for every industry with the goal of advancing the state as a whole. Many states will follow this in the days ahead.
