Delhi High Court refused to consider a PIL

New Delhi: A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) asked the federal government and other respondents to establish a religious organization, such as a “Sanatan Dharm Raksha Board,” on Wednesday for “the protection of Sanatan Dharma and its culture.” The Delhi High Court refused to consider the PIL.

The bench, which included Justice Tushar Rao Gedela and Chief Justice Manmohan, declared that the court could not become involved in policy-related issues.

In its plea, the Sanatan Hindu Sewa Sangh Trust, represented by Advocate Ashok Kumar, argued that the Indian Constitution clearly states that our nation is secular.

For the adherents of various faiths, the Indian government has established a number of organizations or boards. It was countered, however, that adherents of Sanatan Dharma, often called Hindu Dharma, lack a specific board or government agency to defend their rights and traditions.

Additionally, it was reported that people from communities that practice religions other than Sanatan/Hindu Dharma are attacking Sanatan Dharma in a number of ways, including by trying to convert its adherents to other faiths, which is against their traditions and beliefs.

According to the statement, the majority of people in our nation are Sanatan/Hindu, and as such, they are entitled to protection and other religiously-related amenities that the Indian government has not been providing for a number of years.

The rights and traditions of the Sanatan/Hindu faith must be protected by the government.

It was also noted that the Government of India and state governments oversee and maintain a large number of the nation’s temples, which receive donations from the public.

In spite of this, the government has not set up a national organization specifically tasked with safeguarding the Hindu/Sanatan faith. In order to preserve the Sanatan/Hindu faith in the nation, these conditions show that the government must establish such a body, which it should oversee and supervise, please read.
