Kiccha Sudeep seen crying in the arms of former Karnataka CM Bommai in photos posted on Instagram after his mother’s death
After his mother Saroja Sanjeev passed away on Sunday morning, actor Kichcha Sudeep was distraught when he was visited by dignitaries, celebrities, and family members. Images that went viral on X (previously Twitter) show him sobbing in the arms of former Karnataka Chief Minister and MP Basavaraj S. Bommai, and being comforted by family members as he lays his head down next to his mother’s corpse.
Kichcha Sudeep in mourning
Upon seeing the people who had come to see him after the loss of his mother, Sudeep broke down. In one photo, Basavaraj is seen consoling him at his house. The politician shared photos from his visit on X and had a tight relationship with Sudeep Saroovar’s father, Sanjeev Saroovar.
Following the announcement of her death, Basavaraj issued a press statement stating, “My family and I am very saddened by the loss of Saroja, the mother of actor Sudeep. She was the picture of maternal love; she always extended a warm greeting to everyone who came to her house. For many years, every time we came to visit, she would serve meals and show visitors affection and care, much like Annapoorneshwari. I’m really saddened by her disappearance. I ask God to grant Sudeep and his family the fortitude to deal with this loss.
Condolences abound
Along with actor and Andhra Pradesh’s deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan, both DK Shivakumar, the deputy chief minister of Karnataka, and Pawan Kalyan wrote a message on X expressing their sympathies. “My deepest condolences to you, @KicchaSudeep Sir, on the loss of your beloved mother,” Rishab Shetty posted on X after actor Shiva Rajkumar paid Sudeep a visit to express his sorrow. May her soul rest in peace, and may this trying time give you and your family courage and consolation.
While undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital in Jayanagar, Bengaluru, for issues connected to aging, Saroja passed away. People in JP Nagar were able to pay their respects by seeing her corpse taken home.
