Kanguva Box Office First Day: Know how many crores the film earned worldwide
Kanguva Box Office First Day: On November 14, Kanguva, the fantasy action drama starring Tamil superstar Suriya, had a mediocre opening at the movie office. Due to technical difficulties, the movie’s early morning screenings (4 am in Kerala and 4.30 am in Andhra Pradesh) were postponed by over an hour. Kanguva reportedly made close to Rs 40 crore worldwide despite the initial delay. Both reviewers and viewers gave the Siva-directed movie varying reviews.
According to early estimations, Kanguva’s global gross earnings were close to Rs 40 crore. On November 14, the movie debuted in theaters worldwide on an unprecedented number of screens.
On November 14, Kanguva reportedly made over Rs 22 crore nett at the domestic box office, according to tracking website Sacnilk. This is quite typical for a movie this size. On November 14, the Tamil version of the movie had a 37.25 percent occupancy rate.
Suriya and Kanguva’s producers actively marketed the movie in Mumbai before its release, aiming for a pan-India hit by focusing on the Hindi belt. On November 14, however, the Hindi occupancy rate was only 11.47 percent. It is very likely that the movie will fail in the North belt given the lackluster reception it has received.
