Kangana Ranaut lashes out at Rahul Gandhi for his controversial comment on ‘Emergency.’
Many delays were experienced in releasing Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming movie Emergency due to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) certification process, which has led to mixed reactions concerning the film. On Friday, the BJP MP said, ‘The censor board needs to work with more clarity, excuse us while saying to extract intermediate responsibility regarding the underlined delay’.
‘Probably I know why and how I made this film, the actress had said in the ANI interview. The film industry did not offer me anything; rather, I know its large scale. To extend the publication of Emergency, everyone in this grand party, including Zee and me, is suffering badly, and there is a reason why everyone is angry. It is a case when expression of relief is justified. This probably explains why I still believe that the censor board needs to be in charge of getting this movie out with immediate effect.
Ranauat made these comments the day after the Bombay High Court observed and censured the CBFC for not approving the release of the film “Emergency.” The division bench of Justices B P Colabawalla and Firdosh Pooniwalla observed that the censor board cannot refuse certification to a film merely because it apprehends such a film may result in a disturbance of law and order. They also said this should not be the reason for interference in the liberty of thought or expression.
Kangana Ranaut denounces Gandhi further for the comments in the US
The MP from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, looking from Mandi in certain comments, turned on Rahul Gandhi, chief of the opposition in Lok Sabha’s. The leader made the comments in the United States and in particular regarding the Sikh population. “Some people are getting them used, and thus violent elements are being provoked, and people are aware of it—the type of things Rahul Gandhi speaks concerning the nation when he goes to foreign countries,” Ranaut said to ANI in the interview. He says they understand the kind of frustration I know certainly is not hidden from anybody, especially from people like him who profess great love for the country. Not even a moment’s delay, he is ready to break this country into fragments to grab power.
In India, Rahul Gandhi found himself in hot water over some remarks made during his recent visit to the US. While speaking in front of a crowd in Virginia, the chief of the Congress stated that the whole issue is whether Sikhs can go to Gurdwaras and wear turbans in India.
‘You have to understand how the war is: politics does not have a place in a war. It’s not serious. What’s your name? The argument is only on whether he would be able to wear a turban in India as a Sikh. Or he will be allowed to wear a kada in India when he is a Sikh. Or a Sikh will be allowed to access Gurdwaras. That’s the battle, not just for him but for those of every religion,’ Rahul reportedly said in a lecture in the US as per ANI.
