“Those who speak out for the public are being illegally sued by the Revanth Reddy government. The administration is using fake accusations to exact revenge on KTR, the working president of our party. Cases brought against us don’t scare us,” she said.
Kavitha accused the Congress administration of misleading farmers by cutting the benefits of the Rythu Bandhu plan from Rs15,000 to Rs12,000, among other unfulfilled promises.

“We will keep up our unrelenting defense of the people’s rights. The farmers were duped by the Congress, which promised Rs15,000 under Rythu Bandhu but only gave Rs12,000 instead,” she claimed.

In reaction to this treachery, BRS workers are staging large-scale demonstrations throughout the state, according to MLC Kavitha. The administration is using unlawful cases as a kind of harassment because it fears these demonstrations.

In addition, she said that “the Congress government cannot escape punishment in the people’s court.”

KT Rama Rao, the working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS), said earlier on Sunday that the Telangana government had betrayed its promise to the state’s farmers and that a demonstration will be held on January 6 to demand that the Congress increase the aid to Rs 15,000 per acre as promised.

Speaking to media, KTR stated: “The Congress party in Telangana’s deception and betrayal of Telangana farmers is a farce and a very heinous violation of contract.Rahul Gandhi was in Telangana, and the Congress party had promised a categorical farmer proclamation in Warangal. They were committed to improving Rythu Bandhu and giving an extra Rs 5000 to every Telangana farmer who was receiving Rs 10,000 for two crop cycles.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had earlier on December 12 directed authorities to transfer funds into farmers’ accounts under the Rythu Bandhu program.

In a post on ‘X,’ the Telangana Chief Minister’s Office said that CM Revanth Anumula has instructed them to begin the process of depositing ‘Rythu Bandhu’ payments in their accounts to all farmers in the state starting today.

The Chief Minister instructed the senior authorities to create a suitable action plan to waive the Rs 2 lakh debts to the state’s farmers in accordance with his government’s pledge, the CMO said.
