J&K Trade Promotion Organisation organises ‘Textile Sourcing Fair 2024’ in Srinagar

Srinagar: The Textile Sourcing Fair 2024 was held on Friday at the Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir in Srinagar by the Jammu & Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization.
A sizable number of buyers from India and beyond attended the J&K Textile Sourcing Fair, which helped the textile sector flourish and benefited regional manufacturers, craftsmen, and business owners.

“This premier fair serves as a vital gathering point for buyers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders from both India and abroad, fostering collaboration and innovation within the textile sector,” Khalid Jahangir, Managing Director, J&K Trade Promotion Organization, told ANI. This expo is attended by 37 buyer’s delegates in total, including 17 buyers’ delegates from various states around the nation.

The goal of the J&K Textile Sourcing Fair is to make a major contribution to the expansion and development of our textile sector. In addition to showcasing the rich history and artistry of regional craftspeople, the fair gives manufacturers and business owners the chance to grow their networks and investigate untapped markets.
