According to the police, the chargesheets were brought before the NIA Court in Doda on Friday for a decision.

According to Sandeep Mehta, SSP Doda, all of the accused have either openly or surreptitiously supplied food and other supplies to the terrorist organizations operating in the Doda area.

Three defendants—Safder Ali, Mubashar Hussain, and Sajad Ahmad—who are all Tanta, Tehsil Kahara, residents are involved in the first case, which is filed at the Gandoh Police Station. Sections 7 and 27 of the Arms Act, numerous components of the UAPA, and many sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including 307, 120-B, 121, 122, and 326, have all been used to prosecute them. The matter has been looked into by Doda and SP(PC).

Four people are named in the chargesheet for the second case, which is recorded at Police Station Bhaderwah. The principal accused, Muhammad Rafi of Trown, and Muhammad Amin Bhat, also known as Khubaib of Phagsoo, who is now living in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, are among the accused, along with other people from the Doda area.

Sections 122, 382, 409, and 166 of the Indian Penal Code; Sections 13, 18, 18-B, 23, 38, and 39 of the UAPA; and Sections 7 and 25 of the Indian Arms Act were used to create the accusations. According to the police, SDPO Bhaderwah looked into the issue, and certain people are also booked under Sections 409 and 166 of the IPC.

The police reaffirmed their determination to combat both active militancy and the support systems that enable it. This move is a component of a larger plan to destroy the financial and logistical infrastructure that supports terrorists in the area.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police’s determination to uphold peace and security by taking harsh action against those engaged in illegal activity and making sure that those responsible face justice has been underlined by SSP Doda.

More efforts are being made to find and apprehend other people connected to militancy, the police said, adding that they are closely monitoring the actions of everyone who is either recruiting support for the anti-national elements or giving them logistical support to survive in this hilly district.
