‘Jigra’ Box Office Collection Day 1: This film earned this many crores on Friday
‘Jigra’ Box Office Collection Day 1: Since the debut of the teaser, the Alia Bhatt film “Jigra,” which opened on Friday, has consistently been seen as a niche production. Thus, there weren’t high hopes for the film. Given that Alia was the primary draw for moviegoers, the first scene is seen as being rather good. Moreover, the film didn’t have a large budget.
‘Jigra’ made a total of Rs 4.25 crore at the domestic box office on its first day.
About 18,000 tickets had been sold by Jigra at the top three national chains. However, this figure was as of Thursday night. The film was projected to earn between Rs 4.5 crore and Rs 5 crore on its first day when it was released in between 2200 to 2500 theaters.
Jigra Movie Analysis
The film has scored in the same range, therefore this has come to pass. In the meanwhile, “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video,” another movie that opened on Friday, has brought in almost Rs 5 crore. Thus, it was superior than “Jigra.” Even this is regarded as a respectable figure for the Triptii Dimri and Rajkummar Rao film.
However, the evening and late-night shows in both of these films seemed to have been heavily influenced by the Navratri period. Naturally, a sizable portion of the crowd would rather go out for garba and dandiya around this time than see a movie in the theater.
However, the Dussehra holiday may contribute to a spike in ticket sales for both of these films, and the Sunday ticket sales after Dussehra might even be better.
