“PM Modi has elevated the plight of farmers to the forefront of all spheres of life, including solar homes, cheap housing, Jal in Har Nal, and agricultural technologies. Our expectations will thus inevitably be high. Convergence is occurring at this moment to help farmers reach new heights.

Therefore, I’m certain that the current efforts will gain more traction and that all agencies will eventually converge. The country will benefit greatly from our efforts, which are both magnificent and historic, despite our lofty expectations,” Dhankhar said.

Prior to this, former Prime Minister and JDS leader HD Deve Gowda acknowledged the Chairman’s recent worries about agricultural difficulties and expressed gratitude for Dhankar’s compassion for the farmers.

“You talk about the farmer a lot. The agricultural community is a major concern of yours. “Sir,” he said in the House, “I am a farmer.

Vice President Dhankhar asked Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Chouhan on Tuesday about the “promises” that the former Union Agriculture Minister had made to farmers and demanded that talks to resolve their complaints begin right now.

“Agriculture Minister, were there any formal commitments made by the former Agriculture Ministers? What happened to them, if at all? The vice president inquired.

The vice president made remarks on India’s rising international prominence while contrasting it with the difficulties facing its agriculture industry, highlighting the predicament of the protesting farmers.

“We have the best reputation in the world right now. Why would my farmer be distressed in such a situation? Why is he in pain? Ignoring this critical problem is a sign of unworkable policymaking. The voice of the farmer cannot be silenced by any power in the nation. “Testing the patience of its farmers will cost a nation dearly,” he said.

Together with other farmer organizations, the Bhartiya Kisan Parishad (BKP) is spearheading the demonstration, which calls for benefits and compensation related to agricultural reforms, such as a legal guarantee for the Minimum Support Price (MSP).
