J & K: A tragic incident took place in Bandipora district, two soldiers died, 3 injured when an army vehicle fell into a deep ditch
An army vehicle drove off the road and fell down a steep valley at the Wular viewpoint in the SK Payeen region on Saturday, causing tragedy in the Bandipora district.
According to Masarat Iqbal Wani, Medical Superintendent of the Bandipora District hospital, the accident has claimed the lives of two troops and wounded three more.
“For medical care, the three individuals have been sent to Srinagar. When we learned about the accident, we dispatched our ambulance right away,” the medical superintendent told the reporters.
After being transported right away to a nearby hospital, the wounded staff members were subsequently sent to a medical institution in Srinagar for more extensive care.
Two wounded people remain in emergency condition, while one has been deemed stable.
“One of them is in stable condition; two are in emergency…” Wani went on to say.
