Infiltration bid by intruders crossing IB into Jammu region of J&K foiled
Jammu: According to an official announcement, during the intervening nights of April 4 and 5, the Border Security Force stopped an intruder from attempting to cross the International Border (IB) in the Jammu area of Jammu and Kashmir.

The announcement said that the BSF soldiers positioned along the IB in the area saw suspicious activity in the border area where a person was sighted crossing the IB, which prompted the BSF staff to issue a challenge.
However, the intruder did not react and proceeded to move in the direction of the Indian side. BSF personnel neutralized the intruder in reaction to the perceived danger.
According to the statement, a strong protest has been filed with the relevant authorities on the occurrence, and the identity and motivation of the individual are now being investigated.
A suspicious person was seen entering into Indian territory and approaching the border security barrier near the international border earlier on Monday, according to BSF personnel based in the Amritsar area.
The military responded quickly, urging him to halt and then capturing him. When first questioned, the invader identified himself as a citizen of Pakistan.
According to the BSF, this arrest occurred in the vicinity of the hamlet of Bharopal in the Amritsar district.
According to the BSF, the Pakistani invader has been turned over to the local police for further investigation and to learn why he crossed the IB after being questioned first by the BSF and its sister agencies.
In a different instance, sources revealed that the BSF had sent a Pakistani lady called Humra to the Pakistan Rangers at the Anupgarh border area in Rajasthan for humanitarian reasons.
The announcement claims that on March 17, 2025, the lady entered Indian territory by crossing the India-Pakistan International Border unlawfully close to the Anupgarh neighborhood in the Sriganganagar sector.
After being captured by the BSF, she was turned over to the local police and then sent back home.
