Indian Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi visits various facilities of Bharat Electronics Limited
Bengaluru: On Tuesday, Indian Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi toured several Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) facilities and received an overview of the “state-of-the-art” defense and missile systems that the firm has developed and supplied.

According to a statement issued by BEL, “The navy chief was briefed on the facilities of the Advanced Defence Systems Navy SBU, Near Field Test Range, Assembly Infrastructure, and Precision manufacturing facility of MRSAM (Medium Range Surface to Air Missile) and LRSAM (Long Range Surface to Air Missile) projects of the Indian Navy.”
Additionally, the Chief of Naval Staff received an update on the several weapon systems that BEL would be providing to the Indian Navy in the years to come.
Admiral Tripathi valued BEL’s Automation Quality 4.0, Industry 4.0, and Process Capability Model standards.
The Indian Navy said that the Chief of Naval Staff also praised BEL for being a vital component of the Indian military ecosystem and continuously leading the way in the development of cutting-edge technologies.
“This visit underscores the Indian Navy’s commitment towards ‘infusion of technology’ and the importance of strategic collaboration between defense manufacturers and the #Indian Navy, as India progresses towards Atmanirbharta and ViksitBharat,” the statement said.
