Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police recovered weapons in Kupwara in a joint search operation

Kupwara: During a cooperative search, the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police found ammunition and firearms in Bandi Mohalla in the district of Kupwara.

The search, which started on Friday, is still ongoing, according to the army.

“On 14 Feb 2025, based on specific intelligence inputs, a Joint Search Operation was launched by #IndianArmy and @JmuKmrPolice in the general area of Bandi Mohalla, Channipura Pain, and Kupwara,” the army said in a tweet on X.

“During the search, 02xPistols, 04xPistol Magazines and ammunition have been recovered.”
