Shah is scheduled to arrive in Jorhat on March 14 and officially open the fully renovated Lachit Barphukan Police Academy in Dergaon on March 15. On March 15, the Home Minister will also go to Mizoram before heading back to Assam for more engagements.

On March 16, the Home Minister will be present at the All Bodo Students Union’s (ABSU) 57th Annual Conference in Kokrajhar, Assam. From March 13 to 16, the ABSU Annual Conference will be held in the Kokrajhar district’s Bodofa Fwthar region.

Since Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma was born in Dotma, this conference is devoted to him. Policymakers, educators, and community leaders will convene for talks on education, youth development, and long-term advancement, according to an official release.

The goal of the conference is to further the Mission Quality Education Movement-2030 by bolstering initiatives to improve academic frameworks and chances for skill development. Experts will examine how NEP 2020 will affect regional learning, while the Education and Youth Conclave will concentrate on methods to empower professionals and pupils.

The event’s significance was emphasized by ABSU President Dipen Boro, who said, “This meeting is a step toward progress, bringing together ideas that can drive real change.” Empowerment and education work together to create a future where everyone has access to opportunities.

“When leaders, specialists, and intellectuals work together, fruitful conversations will result in tangible advancements. This is more than just a conference; it’s a forum for cooperation that guarantees the opinions of experts, students, and legislators will lead to long-lasting outcomes,” Boro said.

Sports competitions, literary competitions, a cultural evening, and an exhibition-cum-book fair highlighting Bodo legacy are all part of the four-day festival. Important locations honoring well-known figures will be opened to recognize their achievements.

“Beyond discussions, the conference will serve as a bridge between aspirations and action,” the statement said, highlighting the platform as a crucial link between “aspiration and action.” The true effect will be seen in the years to come as pledges become outcomes, ideas become programs, and a shared vision becomes a reality, even though leaders and legislators set the agenda.
