The Background and Importance of Guru Nanak Jayanti in 2024

On April 15, 1469, Guru Nanak Dev Ji was born in Talwandi (now Nankana Sahib, Pakistan) to Mehta Kalu and Mata Tripta.

From a young age, he shown a deep interest in spirituality, but he also often voiced concerns about discrimination, injustice, and unethical rituals and behaviors.
