Gujarat Chief Minister made this announcement to accelerate administrative reforms in the 11th Chintan Shivir

Following the 11th ‘Chintan Shibir’, which the Gujarat government organized, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said on Saturday that an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Task Force will be established with the goal of expediting the state’s public welfare programs and administrative changes. To guarantee increased speed, efficiency, and transparency, the task force will make use of technology. According to an official announcement, the task force will assist in implementing the saturation method, which aims to cover all beneficiaries, by using technology.

This time, the Chintan Shibir logo was digitally introduced by the Chief Minister. On the third and last day of the 11th Chintan Shibir, under the auspices of Somnath Mahadev, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel reaffirmed Gujarat’s steadfast dedication to realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s saturation approach goal. Through widespread use of technology, this strategy would guarantee that the advantages of public welfare programs reach all eligible recipients, advancing Gujarat’s developmental trajectory, the announcement said.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel urged senior secretaries, district collectors, and development officers to expand the use of AI in critical areas like public grievance redress, infrastructure, employment, agriculture, education, health, and malnutrition during the Chintan Shibir’s final session. A high-level task group will be formed to help with this, and it will provide its recommendations in less than a month. These suggestions will direct the state government’s efforts to use AI and data analytics to achieve sustainable development. According to the release, the Chief Minister also underlined how Gujarat has become a model state and a development engine for the country as a result of the revolutionary administrative changes brought about by Chintan Shibir, which was started in 2003 under the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Shibirs have also emerged as a driving force behind technology-driven governance. He reaffirmed that growth is a continuous process and that the conversations sparked by group brainstorming and thinking provide fresh viewpoints and avenues for advancement. The Chief Minister emphasized that elected authorities are working together to promote Gujarat’s growth.

He emphasized that the government system need to be so strong that those who commit crimes are afraid of it. He said that errors resulting from malice will never be accepted, but those committed with good intentions may be pardoned. According to the announcement, the Chief Minister advised staff members to adopt the Karma Yog path and implement its six tenets in their daily lives.

He underlined how closely related these ideas are to one another and how applying any one of them may significantly affect a person’s character and personality. While encouraging a positive attitude in the face of criticism, Bhupendra Patel emphasized the need of promptly informing the people about the government’s significant and advantageous efforts. According to the statement, he said that it is our shared duty to make sure that accurate and constructive information rapidly reaches people in the age of social media, when false information travels swiftly.

When discussing social occurrences, the Chief Minister encouraged that any flaws be quickly fixed and that a strategy be put in place to ensure that they don’t happen again. According to the release, the three-day Chintan Shibir featured group discussion sessions that addressed four main topics: generating employment opportunities, boosting rural income, achieving government service saturation, and the function of district and local self-government organizations in promoting tourism.

At the district level, the Chief Minister urged prompt adoption of these suggestions. He asked each development officer and district collector to choose three projects from these suggestions for their district, act quickly, and evaluate their progress on a regular basis. The Chief Minister underlined that environmental sustainability should be a top priority in all development efforts. According to the statement, the chief minister emphasized the crucial role that district administration plays in bridging the gap between the state government and the village level.

He said that the Chintan Shibirs have proved to be a crucial forum for group reflection and problem-solving when misconceptions or interpretation problems occur in routine administrative tasks. The Chief Minister emphasized the significance of ongoing contemplation to transition from “Viksit Gujarat” to “Viksit Bharat,” with Gujarat setting the pace for development, citing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s aim of Viksit Bharat by 2047. According to the statement, he also underlined that Chintan Shibir should be seen as a continuous process for both professional and personal development.

Harsh Sanghvi, the Minister of State for Home, complimented the district administration for organizing the 11th Chintan Shibir successfully and expressed his best wishes for the successful application of the innovative ideas that were developed during the event.

Additional Chief Secretary of the General Administration Department Kamal Dayani thanked Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, all Cabinet members, senior secretaries, district collectors, and DDOs for their active participation in the group discussions during his vote of thanks for the 11th Chintan Shibir at the state level. According to the statement, he praised the insightful suggestions made during the sessions and underlined that effective coordination and collaboration across different government offices and agencies, all the way up to the district level, can provide the best outcomes.

All attendees were urged by Kamal Dayani to embrace and put into practice the fresh strategies and concepts discussed at the Chintan Shibir in order to keep moving forward. Additionally, he expressed gratitude to the Gir Somnath District Collector, the General Administration Department Principal Secretary Harit Shukla, and the whole district administration for their efforts in making the event a success.

According to the release, the State Government’s District Collectors and District Development Officers, along with Minister of Finance and Energy Kanubhai Desai, State Cabinet Ministers, Principal Advisor to the Chief Minister Dr. Hasmukh Adhia, Chief Secretary Raj Kumar, Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, and Secretaries, attended the Chintan Shibir’s closing ceremony.
