According to an official release from the Chief Minister’s office, CM Patel stressed throughout his speech the government’s commitment to tackling every issue that the people confront, in keeping with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s motto of “Sauno Saath, Sauno Vikas.”

In addition to highlighting the need to update the definition of affordable housing and expressing the government’s willingness to have discussions on how to increase the availability of smaller homes, such as 1BHK and 2BHK units, and the requirements developers must meet to do so, he acknowledged the crucial role that builders and real estate entrepreneurs play in the realization of “Viksit Bharat” and assured them of the government’s ongoing support in addressing their concerns.

According to the CMO’s statement, CM Patel asked developers to make sure that the most marginalized common man—the homebuyers—should get all relief advantages, including exemptions in Jantri and FSI. The CM also emphasized the noteworthy work done under PM Modi’s direction, which has resulted in the building of crores of reasonably priced houses nationwide.

The Gujarat chief minister previously emphasized the goal of “Housing for all” in a post on X, claiming that lakhs of households had received lovely houses as a result of this strategy.

“CREDAI is making a wonderful contribution towards the education sector and increasing the green cover, I am proud of it,” the chief minister said in the X post.

According to the CM, the state government is fully dedicated to provide developers and builders who are engaged in the building of affordable housing all the incentives and assistance they need. In keeping with PM Modi’s goal of a TB Mukt Bharat (TB-Free India), he also asked the builders to help distribute Poshan Kits, or nutrition kits.

Speaking at the event, Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghavi said that the government is promoting the expansion of the state’s real estate industry under the direction of the chief minister by implementing laws that safeguard the interests of all parties involved, including developers, homebuyers, and the administration.

Ahmedabad is quickly becoming into a giant international metropolis, the Minister said. According to the statement, there would be an ongoing need for large-scale projects and building activities as a result of the substantial investments coming in. Additionally, he highlighted the pilot effort to eliminate pollutants and dust from the Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar SG Highway.
