“There are two CAPF firms at each counting center. Here, DSP, ADSP, and inspectors are also stationed. Here, a four-tiered security perimeter has been maintained. We are employing drones to get an overhead picture. Police would be deployed during the candidates’ victory march,” he said.

Every security measure has been implemented. On February 5, voting for the 70-member Assembly took place, and 60.54 percent of voters cast ballots.

While the BJP is working hard to regain power in the nation’s capital after more than 20 years, the AAP is striving for a third straight term.

According to the majority of exit polls published on Wednesday, the BJP was ahead of the AAP. Exit polls, according to AAP officials, have typically understated the party’s success. They said they were certain they could regain power.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s BJP campaign attacked the AAP for renovating Arvind Kejriwal’s home while he was chief minister and for allegedly contaminating the Yamuna River.

Additionally, the PM criticized Kejriwal by using phrases like “Aapda” and “Sheesh Mahal.”

In the meanwhile, the AAP emphasized its “performance” throughout its eleven-year term in the education sector. The BJP would “stop the free education” if it took power, according to Kejriwal.

In addition to holding rallies, Rahul Gandhi, a Congress MP and the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, attacked Kejriwal and prominent AAP figure Manish Sisodia for their suspected involvement in the Delhi excise policy “scam” case.

AAP leader and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is running against Congressman Sandeep Dikshit and BJP candidate Parvesh Verma in New Delhi, one of the key seats.

Delhi Chief Minister Atishi is up against Alka Lamba of the Congress and Ramesh Bidhuri of the BJP. The heads of the three parties engaged in acrimonious disputes throughout the campaign.

Voter registration for the Delhi election began at 8 am, and postal ballots were sent to the Meerabai DSEU counting center in Maharani Bagh.
