Farooq Abdullah condoles the death of Manmohan Singh
Farooq Abdullah, the head of the National Conference, said there aren’t many leaders like these in the world and expressed sorrow at the passing of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday.
Farooq Abdullah, the head of the National Conference, told the reporters, “Renewal energy was acknowledged during his tenure, and I served as a minister in his Cabinet. I hope that the job he has done may continue. Dr. Manmohan Singh was the one who took action to help our Kashmiri pandits get back on their feet.
Workers are the only ones who get criticism. There aren’t many leaders like him in the world, therefore it will be very hard for the whole nation to find one.”
Amarjit Singh Kohli, the cousin brother of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, also sent his sincere condolences, stating that Singh used to encourage everyone to pursue their education.
“He was our uncle’s son,” Amarjit Singh Kohli told the journalists. Since we were little, he has been to see us; he is very kind and wonderful. Everyone used to be motivated to learn by him. His whole life was simple; he never engaged in any ostentatious behavior.
The Communist Party of India (Marxist) Polit Bureau expressed sadness on Friday at the passing of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who the bureau claimed steadfastly upheld secular and democratic principles while in office.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at his Delhi home earlier today to pay his last respects.
Manmohan Singh was also given last respects by Union Health Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. KC Venugopal and other congress leaders were there visiting the former prime minister’s home.
At the age of 92, Manmohan Singh died away on Thursday night at AIIMS, Delhi, from age-related illnesses. He was sent to the AIIMS Delhi after experiencing an unexpected loss of consciousness at home.
Since Singh’s death, condolences have been sent in from all around the world. Leaders from neighboring nations, such as Afghanistan, the Maldives, and the United States, conveyed their profound sorrow at his loss while praising his efforts and the cordial ties he cultivated with them.
The corpse of the late Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will be on public display at the All India Congress Committee (AICC) headquarters in New Delhi. Congress sources said his last ceremonies are set on Saturday.
Singh, who served as India’s finance minister in the administration of PV Narasimha Rao, is credited with bringing about the nation’s economic liberalization in 1991. The reforms enhanced foreign direct investment (FDI) and decreased government control by opening up the Indian economy to global businesses. It made a significant contribution to the economic expansion of the nation.
