Fardeen Khan recalls sharing the screen with his father in ‘Jaansheen’
Actor Fardeen Khan began the week with a sentimental walk down memory lane, recalling his time spent shooting on the movie “Janasheen,” which also featured legendary performer and his late father Feroz Khan.
“November 25th was 21 years since JANASHEEN first appeared on television. The speed at which time has passed seems unreal. I will always have a particular place in my heart for this movie; seeing Khan Saab on screen together was an incredible experience. It was a great gift, not just an honor,” he wrote.
Fardeen says that ‘Janasheen’ “was a testament to my father’s unyielding passion for filmmaking.”

“Not only for myself, but for everyone who collaborated with him, his attention to every little detail, every scene, and every musical note was nothing short of inspirational. He taught me about life, resiliency, and having the guts to pursue your ambitions with unflinching conviction in addition to storytelling,” he said.
Fardeen also posted a few BTS photos from the movie’s locations.
“I’m thrilled to share some behind-the-scenes photos with all of you who have supported his work and legacy throughout the years as we commemorate its 21st anniversary. We appreciate you respecting his courageous attitude and preserving his legacy. He added, “Here’s to Feroz Khan—The OG Khan.”
Celina Jaitly played the key part in “Janasheen.” Feroz Khan directed the film in addition to acting in it.
Fardeen, meantime, made a spectacular return to the entertainment industry earlier this year with “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,” directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Fardeen spoke candidly about his return, stating that he felt like a “newcomer” in an interview with ANI.
“I’m very anxious, but I’m also really thrilled. Over the last 12 years, a lot has changed. The quality of movies has evolved. The manner that people watch movies has evolved. I feel like a newbie since there is a whole new generation now. With this ‘Heeramandi’ event, I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to collaborate with wonderful individuals. This year, I have two additional images that will be published. “I sincerely appreciate the audience’s trust in me,” he remarked.
His most recent big-screen appearance before to his break was in Dulha Mil Gaya. ‘Khel Khel Mein’, which also stars Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannnu, and Ammy Virk, was his next acting showcase after Heeramandi. A few months ago, his movie “Visfot,” starring Riteish Deshmukh, was also released.
‘Housefull 5’ will include Fardeen in the next months.
