External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar welcomes Italian Ambassador Antonio Bartoli in Delhi
New Delhi: Antonio Bartoli, Italy’s ambassador to India, was welcomed in Delhi by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar.
The Strategic Partnership between Italy and India was addressed by the two presidents.
Earlier this year, in July, Antonio Bartoli was appointed Italy’s ambassador to India.
Italy and India are two democracies and “natural platforms for sharing of goods, culture, and innovation,” he had previously said in reference to the two nations’ connection. I’ll be employed by the strategic alliance.
“With a focus on peace, growth, science and technology, energy and digital transition, mobility and security,” he had previously said that he will work on India-Italy connections.

India and Italy worked together and exchanged best practices on a number of fronts in October alone. These include the first-ever drill by carrier strike groups in the two nations’ navy’s historic bilateral maritime engagement.
In their October meeting, Ambassador Bartoli and Piyush Goyal spoke about the expanding trade and industrial ties between Italy and India in fields like advanced manufacturing, renewable energy, and agri-tech, among others.
